Her current project is a nonfiction book entitled The Weight of Silence: Invisible Children of India, about the 25 million children in India living without parental care - on the streets, abandoned in orphanages or trafficked into child labor or the sex trade. Their plight goes virtually unnoticed; their voices are silenced; The Weight of Silence aims to give a strong and hopeful voice to India’s most vulnerable citizens.
